High-Tech Hinge:

The High-Tech hinge is a polycentric hinge with an easy to set flexion and extension stops t 0°, 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, and 90°.. It is made of aircraft aluminum arms. The adjustment pins are located under a durable, plastic composite flip-top lid that allows easy access to the pins to set the degree of extension and flexion you desire.

Materials Types:

There are different types of materials and thicknesses available for the braces. Standard Black latex-free neoprene, Bunga Cooltech material which is 25% cooler than standard neoprene, B-Plush material and Tiger Tooth lining to limit motion or movement from the brace

This 1/16" perforated neoprene is coated on both sides with nylon.

1/8" Latex-Free Neoprene:

This is our 1/8" latex-free neoprene. It less warm and slightly less supportive than the 3/16" material. However, it is also easier to put on as compared to a 3/16" Latex-free neoprene.

3/16" Latex-Free Neoprene:

This is a heavy duty and thicker version of our standard 1/8" neoprene. It increases the support and warmth of the brace compared to the 1/8" version.

Bunga Velvet Plush Fabric is a soft, yet durable neoprene with an extra soft covering.

Bunga Cool Tech™:

This brace is available in Cool Tech Material. This is a light, cool and comfortable alternative to neoprene. It is constructed of a ply-nylon core body with a poly-spandex blend outer cover. This cover and construction enhances air flow. The open cell structure allows air to pass easily through the material, thus keeping the brace cooler. The knitting structure allows perspiration to be wicked from the side next to the body to the outside layer of the fabric where the perspiration can be evaporated. The Cool Tech line of products are finished using elastic bias tape around the edges, which prevents the material from fraying. Cool Tech material is not a replacement for neoprene. Neoprene will give more compression and warmth because of its cell structure. Cool Tech is a great alternative for those people who have to wear supports for long periods of time, or that have heat or allergy issues with neoprene.
